Painting of a billboard I found deep in the southern California desert, spotted on a drive between the Salton Sea and Salvation Mountain. I loved how vivid the sign it looked against the flat, neutral backdrop of the desert, and how the messaging in the bold typography evoked a sense of oasis against the dry desert.
