This one of a kind painting pays homage to the inspiring and unique desert landscape from my first trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I used the idea of a vase centerpiece as a visual metaphor to spotlight the unique desert features of the park like the angular trees, clumsy rocks, vast views, and radiant blue skies, all in one piece.
