The Seven Magic Mountains is an art installation in the American southwest, just south of Las Vegas in Nevada. The installation is very large, stacked boulders painted bold colors, serving as manmade “mountains” in the desert.

This painting is a study of the saturated colors of the installation. Using an abstract, color-blocking technique, this painting emphasizes the installation’s ultra-bright colors that stand out against the neutral desert landscape.
